55 NKTC Championship Rnd - Observers Needed
Written by Double Five
Friday, 04 July 2014 14:17

We have our NKTC championship trial on Sunday 13th July round 5 of 9 and we need the assistance of those of you who ride in the championship to observe at our event.

We have around 16 riders in the NKTC and SE Championship and it will be good for the club that you can help us.

Some of you have already talked to me to volunteer and for those who may not ride in the championship but would like to have a go at observing please let me know and I will provide a short check list of how to observe.

We will be setting out around 15 sections and I would rather they were all observed than riders marking each other.

Any questions just ask and I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,

Steve

If any club member wishes to find out what is involved in setting out a trials event – taking your Clerk of the Course Trials licence is one way to start.

There is no cost to you, only to attend for 3 hours and complete the paper at the end of it.

The next seminar is on Wed the 4th June 2014 at the Foreman Institute, Blindley Heath, Surrey (A22 south from the M25) 6.30pm for a 7pm start.

If any one is interested, just contact me for more details.

Regards,

Steve

55 B&W practice event this Sunday - Chads Farm
Written by Double Five
Wednesday, 26 March 2014 09:39

This Sunday we are running our first B&W practice event of the year at Chads.

You can enter on the day using the attached entry form (correct cash please) or to use the online entry system, go to https://members.acu.org.uk to log onto your ACU a/c, then view all events, and scroll down to our B&W permit 40181.

If you use the online system, do not worry too much about which class you select, as you can pick the route you want to ride once you get to the event. Please be aware though that in the future, if you use the online entry process for any championship event you must pick the correct class offered as you cannot change it on the day and still get points or awards.

Regs also attached for Sunday's event.

For more info and as usual any questions, just ask.

Regards, Steve.
