Two events this Sunday
Written by Double Five
Wednesday, 12 November 2008

We have two events open to us this Sunday - a Sidcup B&W trial at Canada Heights and a Bexleyheath club trial at Ash.

Entry forms for both are attached below:

Sidcup B&W trial at Canada Heights

Bexleyheath club trial at Ash

You must show your blue ACU card to be allowed to ride and each one costs £10 entry.

Both will have a supply of entry forms if you forget to do one in advance, but if you use one of the attached, please make sure you take the right one with you!

I am still not riding yet and will visit the lads at Ash to watch and have a chat.

If there is anyone who would like to show new member Matthew Dalton the ropes at Canada Heights he would be grateful and if you could let me know I will pass on your details so you can meet up.

Any questions just ask,

Regards,

Steve

Petition the government?
Written by Double Five
Tuesday, 09 September 2008

There are 12,000 signatories so far to this petition on the governments 'No 10 E-Petitions' website. Trials riders may be interested, as it would potentially apply with respect to land used for off-road motorcycle sport.

Have a look. Sign up online if you feel so inclined.

"We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to introduce a green paper proposing ways, that, where complaints have been instigated by resident(s) against a long standing activity (for example, church bells, sports facility, local airfield and similar), and where residence has been taken up since the start of that activity (providing there has been no significant increase in activity), a presumption should be made to protect the continuation of that activity and reject such complaint."
