Welcome to the new website!

There are still one or two little things to tidy up, but it's more or less ready to fly.

Whilst we hope you like the different look we also wanted to consolidate the content, and by using this Content Management System we hope that it will be easier to find what you're looking for.

There are many powerful new features to explore, and we trust you'll take a while to have a look around.

Out with the old...

Well, we have split some of the existing information up into smaller chunks and posted them as separate articles. They have been logically grouped by section and category, so they shouldn't be too hard to get at.

We also now have an excellent search facility which makes it a breeze to locate stuff. You can access this function by simply typing your search terms into the box at the upper-right hand corner of the site, or by selecting the search function from the main menu on the left.

One of the other main advantages is increased security. We will now be able to offer member-only data as and when it's appropriate, and certain nominated individuals will be able to post news and information directly to the site as opposed to coming via the webmaster.

... and in with the new

The Join page will take a bit of converting, so for now I've just wrapped the old page into the new site. Don't be freaked by nostalgia when you're greeted with it :)

There is a Newsflash facility on the front page which we may use to pass on snippets of news, but we will focus on the News section to perform the function of the old Home page.

All the links are brought together under one menu item, as a few were scattered over the old site, and one or two were duplicated. They are now arranged by topic. They are also a lot easier to maintain this way!

Finally, don't forget the new Polling facility, where we will run occasional fun polls of visitors on any number of daft subjects.

I hope the rebuilding effort is worth it, and we would appreciate your feedback in the current poll.

Our new hosting provider has a very good reputation, and certainly provides an excellent webmaster toolset, so I think the future's looking rosy for the website.

Well, it only ever carried our combine results, and I've decided to merge it into the News section. All the stuff on the old home page has also gone into the News section, but that gets displayed on the main page anyway.

I've removed the old NKTC results, but will be adding this years when it takes place on July 9th. We'll also try to add the results of a few other club competitions this year to keep the site a little fresher.
